Teesta Bridge (West Bengal)

‘Teesta Bridge’ or the ‘Coronation Bridge’ is also known as the ‘Sevoke Bridge’. Situated in Kalimpong district of West Bengal, India, this Bridge spans across the Teesta River, connecting the districts of Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri. National Highway 31 runs across it.

The Teesta Bridge has tremendous strategic as well as historic importance and Amrit Cement is proud to have been associated with this project.

Kalia Bhomora Bridge

One of the major projects undertaken by Amrit Cement in the North East include the ‘Kolia Bhomora Setu’, a pre-stressed concrete road bridge built over the Brahmaputra River near Tezpur and Kaliabor in Assam, India.

It is named after the Ahom General Kolia Bhomora Phukan. The bridge falls on route of National Highway 715, previously known as NH-37A.

4 lane projects under NHIDCL – AP, Assam & WB

Amrit Cement has been a part of 4 lane projects under NIHDCL across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and West Bengal.

NHIDCL promotes surveys, establishes, designs, builds, operates, maintains and upgrades National Highways and Strategic Roads including interconnecting roads in parts of the country that share international boundaries with neighbouring countries.

The regional connectivity so enhanced promotes cross-border trade and commerce and helps safeguard India’s international borders.

Railway project - (Manipur, Assam, Mizoram and Tripura)

The area of Northeast Frontier Railway operations is characterized by exceptional beauty and at the same time by some of the most arduous terrain. This difficult terrain limits the rail network expansion.

Taking its expertise in cement industry a notch higher, Amrit Cement has played a pivotal role in expanding the railway network by being a part of railway projects across Northeast India, including Manipur, Assam, Mizoram and Tripura.

MPGCL (Meghalaya)

Meghalaya Power Generation Corporation Limited (MPGCL) is a Public incorporated on 18th December, 2009. It is classed as a State Government Company and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Shillong.

The authorized share capital of MPGCL is Rs. 10,000,000,000 and its paid-up capital is Rs. 7,989,147,100. It is involved in production, collection and distribution of Electricity. Amrit Cement has been a part of various power projects undertaken by MPGCL.

Mizoram National Highway

The total length of National Highways in Mizoram is 986 kms. There are 6 National Highways in Mizoram.

West Bengal PWD (Road Over Bridge)

Under PWD, the Public Works and Public Works (Roads) Department are presently charged with the planning, survey, design, construction and maintenance of Roads, Bridges and Buildings throughout the state as well as having various responsibilities for emergency and relief activities. Amrit Cement has been working hand in hand on several Road Over Bridge construction projects of PWD.

Arunachal University (Arunachal Pradesh)

Arunachal University of Studies is a private university located at Namsai. It is a self-sponsored State Skill University of Arunachal Pradesh. The University was established in 2012 by an act of State Legislator. It is the part of prestigious World Education Mission Group.
